Mechanical and HVAC drawings are produced and sealed by the partner engineer of record for that discipline. Architectural work remains with your architect or licensed interior designer — we coordinate with them, we do not replace them.

Answers before you call.

Do you provide sealed (stamped) drawings?
Yes. All electrical drawings are sealed by a professional engineer registered with APEGA, ready for permit submission in Alberta. Where mechanical scope is included, those drawings are sealed by the partner mechanical engineer of record for that discipline.
Do you provide mechanical and HVAC design?
Yes — delivered together with our partner mechanical engineers. We scope it, coordinate it against the electrical and architectural sets, and issue it inside one package; the mechanical drawings are sealed by the mechanical engineer of record. You still deal with one consultant.
Do you produce architectural drawings?
No. We are engineers, not architects. Architectural drawings stay with your architect or licensed interior designer. What we do is coordinate with them — ceilings and luminaire layouts, service rooms and shafts, clearances, device locations, and permit-set assembly — so the disciplines agree before the set is issued.
What areas of Alberta do you serve?
We work province-wide — Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, and surrounding communities, as well as regional centres across Alberta.
What's the difference between fire alarm design and verification?
Design (to CAN/ULC-S524) is the engineered layout of the system. Verification (to CAN/ULC-S537) is the independent testing and sealed report confirming the installed system works correctly — often required before a building can be occupied.
Can you handle Schedule B and Schedule C?
Yes. As the electrical engineering professional of record, we provide Schedule B (assurance of design and commitment to field review) at permit stage, and Schedule C (assurance of field review and completion) at closeout — along with shop drawing review throughout.
What codes do you design to?
CEC 2024 (Canadian Electrical Code), NECB 2020 for energy and lighting, NBC(AE) 2023 (National Building Code — Alberta Edition), and CAN/ULC-S524 and S537 for fire alarm. We work exclusively to Canadian and Alberta standards.
